Brookfield Global Relocation Services’ Government Services

The Brookfield Global Relocation Services (Brookfield GRS) Government Relocation Services Division, established in 1995, helps public sector organizations define, develop and administer relocation policies and programs for both civilian and military personnel.

Our Government Relocation Program is designed to integrate all the services and activities associated with relocation into a single, seamless, efficient system. The program provides relocating employees with:

Counselling services have been tailored to meet the needs of the public sector employee and our experience has shown that professional services are best served with a single point-of-contact, in a one-on-one interaction with each relocating employee.

Brookfield GRS has prepared a complete counselling plan along with a set of detailed, completely tested procedures under the program. Complete counselling is a structure of service delivery provided through a series of five major steps with a potential 11 other contact points with relocating employees throughout their relocation.

Our technology is designed and deployed to provide an extensive private network to control and provide secure access for remote sites to Brookfield applications. It ensures privacy and confidentiality reflecting government requirements for a secure and confidential network.

We have developed an industry-leading technology platform specifically customized for the public sector clients called ICON. The design of ICON is a critical differentiator in Brookfield GRS’ ability to assure the public sector that we are able to prevent and detect errors.

ICON has been in operation and undergone continuous upgrades and improvement for more than ten years and is a proven end to end technology platform with the following features and functionality offering:

A Transferee Secure Website providing an easy to use resource for relocating employees, providing secure, immediate access to their information.
A Client Secure Website enabling management, client relocation coordinators and reviewers to get instantaneous access to funding and cost reports, relocation status reports for their relocating employees and program information as-and-when required.
Security controls which exceed data requirements and designed to meet strict government requirements.
Customized modules that are critical to meeting government requirements for financial controls, and self-audit.

For more than fifteen years we have consistently provided prompt reimbursement of employee expenses, processed billions of dollars of third party supplier payments, implemented and managed different kinds of funding structures, and passed all audits by Consulting and Audit Canada and Brookfield GRS’ external auditor (Deloitte), in addition to the regular on-going audits performed by Directorate of Relocation Business Management.

Brookfield GRS has successfully managed more than 175,000 public sector relocations, with average transferee satisfaction ratings exceeding 90%.
